Position
The quality control specialist must verify that products and packaging comply with customer specifications.
- Ensure that the weight, volume, and packaging compliance of textile items are verified, while optimizing package fill rates.
- Conduct technical inspections of textile products: taking measurements, verifying size accuracy, inspecting finishes, seams, and labeling, performing specific checks as needed, and addressing any issues.
- Ensure the visual conformity of textile products by checking their contents, detecting defects, and classifying anomalies according to quality standards.
- Sort the items by quality.
- Make simple alterations as needed (repairing seams, trimming threads, reshaping).
- Bring items and/or packages back into compliance (re-folding, repackaging)
- Correct incorrect information (labeling, quantities)
- Conduct spot checks after treatment.
Profile
- Knowledge of textile inspection and reconditioning processes.
- Proficiency in computer software.
- Organization, attention to detail, and independence.
