LOG'S sets up in Morocco

Log's continues its international expansion with a new strategic alliance with TTM, a subsidiary of the Timar Group.

Log'S pursues its development by acquiring a majority stake in Timar Tanger Med (TTM), a subsidiary of the TIMAR Group, listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

Thanks to its fast-expanding port, Tangier is an important strategic gateway to the African continent for flows from all continents.

TTM, created in 2011 to take advantage of the development of Tangier's port activity, provides logistics services (reception of flows via the port and national and international forwarding) for international Groups and for suppliers who deliver to the Renault Tangier plant.

Log'S has acquired 3 warehouses in the Tangier Med port area and the Tangier Free Trade Zone, employing around 50 people.

For Log'S, this investment represents a double strategic interest: a commercial and business synergy, as well as the opportunity to establish itself on the African continent in order to benefit from the region's dynamism.

This strategic alliance will enable each Group to bring its knowledge to the table. Log's will bring its expertise as a specialist in distribution and industrial logistics. Timar will bring its expertise as an international freight forwarder and its knowledge of Morocco and Africa.

In addition, the doubling of port capacity operational in 2019, the arrival of the TGV high-speed train and the opening of the PSA Group plant in Kénitra will provide the logistics market with favorable conditions for development.
