Céraclès Coopérative / Sport 2000 Selects LOG’S for Its Logistics

The association of independent retailers has entrusted us with managing its B2B logistics operations for its Sport 2000 and S2 brands.

By taking over logistics for Céraclès Coopérative, we have two goals: to improve the service provided to members and to support the network’s growth in order to ensure product availability, reliable deliveries, and the ability to better support peak sales periods.

As the network expands and peak sales periods become more frequent, logistics is a key driver of performance for CéraclèsCoopératives. Modernizing this organization will enable us to support stores more effectively, streamline operations, and enhance the quality of service provided to members.

In this context, Log’S manages all B2B logistics flows from its shared facility in Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne (Ain), with a dedicated area of approximately 11,300 m² within a 25,000 m² warehouse. At this stage, the scope covers the Sport 2000 chain (for stores located in “lowland” areas) and S2 Sneakers Specialist.

The business focuses on three main types of operations: restocking stores, centralizing new collections, and managing sales operations. Nearly 2 million items are processed each year—including apparel, footwear, and accessories—with a team of 20 to 28 employees. Operations rely on the Reflex WMS, integrated with transport management software and a mechanized conveyor system, ensuring full traceability and optimized operations.

Tangible benefits for participating stores

This partnership addresses a direct operational challenge for the stores in the network: better managing peak sales periods, reducing delivery times, streamlining operations, and boosting productivity.

Pooling transport flows—by consolidating orders by destination area—also helps optimize logistics costs, reduce the number of delivery routes, and lighten the administrative burden on stores when it comes to managing carriers.

A progress plan has been implemented, with regular steering committee meetings to monitor service quality indicators: order fulfillment and delivery times, product availability, and order accuracy.

A decision consistent with the cooperative's environmental commitments

Integration into a shared warehouse helps reduce the carbon footprint of logistics operations. Pooling of flows—grouping shipments by geographic area, optimizing load factors—results in fewer empty runs, fewer trucks, and a significantly lower carbon footprint per unit shipped compared to a dedicated warehouse. This model aligns with Céraclès Coopérative’s commitment to a more sustainable supply chain.

“Our Sprint 2030 plan is, above all, a plan for our members. To enable them to focus on their core business—selling, advising, and building customer loyalty—the supply chain must be reliable, responsive, and cost-effective. That is exactly what we are building with Log’S: an organization capable of handling our sales peaks, delivering on time, and simplifying the day-to-day operations of our stores.”
Emmanuelle Bahuaud, General Manager of Céraclès Coopérative, Entrepreneurs Commerçants

“For Log’S, this partnership with Céraclès Coopérative represents much more than an operational collaboration. It is rooted in shared values such as trust, commitment, and a constant pursuit of excellence. It also highlights our logistics expertise, our ability to manage complex supply chains, and our capacity to provide optimized solutions for our clients.”
