Joining LOG'S

It was 2016, I was doing my last year of work-study in a specialized master's program, being attached to one of the company's logistics sites. For a year, I worked on the continuous improvement function. The following year, I joined LOG'S' methods and innovation department.

Vision of the sector

I've always been more or less immersed in the world of commerce, thanks to my parents' business. In fact, they were the first people to talk to me about logistics. I very quickly felt that it could be a good fit for me. I'm very Cartesian and rather organized. I'd already worked in drive-through order picking during my studies. It already spoke to me a little. I like the practical side of the job, where you're constantly interacting with all the support departments, operations and customers. It's a very complete environment, which doesn't just focus on a warehouse.

What he prefers

The company is constantly evolving, it never stops! Every two years, a new stage is reached, and that's stimulating, because there can always be new developments! Employees enjoy a very high level of trust and responsibility. This is very rewarding. Above all, what I like best about LOG'S is that the human side comes first.

Shared values

The one I most identify with is humility. I also agree with the "proximity" value. I couldn't have found myself in a company where you're seen as just another employee. Finally, I like the challenge dynamic: when you fail, you get back up, and when you succeed, you always see the next move.

Short- and medium-term ambitions

Having focused on pre-sales engineering since joining the Methods & Innovations department, I'm now concentrating on supporting existing customers. Logistics is a highly dynamic environment in which we have to adapt to our customers' needs. This cross-functional role allows me to get back to the operations side of things. It's a new challenge, with a lot to initiate. In all humility, I'm looking forward to helping LOG'S grow in this area.
