Alongside Goodyear, LOG'S leases an 83,000m² XXL warehouse, in which it will occupy 24,000m² for METEX NØØVISTAGO.
At the end of 2022, METEX NØØVISTAGO decided to entrust LOG'S with the management of all its logistics flows, in a newly-built warehouse in Amiens-Nord, on the former Goodyear industrial wasteland.
The French group METabolic EXplorer uses fermentation to produce natural ingredients for the animal nutrition, cosmetics and biopolymer markets. Through innovative, low-carbon production, METEX contributes to the challenges of ecological transition and reindustrialization. METEX has two industrial units in France, including METEX NØØVISTAGO (MNG) in Amiens.
At the end of 2022, with the aim of optimizing its supply chain and unifying its stocks in a single warehouse, METEX NØØVISTAGO decided to entrust LOG'S with its transformation.
This project will see the company move into a state-of-the-art facility to be delivered in May 2023, in the immediate vicinity of its production site.
LOG'S' logistics activity covers the entire flow of raw materials and finished products, from the end of production, to transport shuttling, storage and dispatch, in order to make them available to carriers for BtoB distribution.
This partnership provides the Amiens-based manufacturer with a long-term, efficient solution, aiming at operational excellence and providing complete cost control, as well as long-term support for the development of its flows.
"We've been working on this project for 3 years now and are delighted to be able to put our expertise in industrial and food logistics to work for METEX, operating in a state-of-the-art logistics facility in the immediate vicinity of their main production site."
Vincent Mangin, Director of International Development at LOG'S
"We are delighted to enter into this collaboration with LOG'S, which reinforces our integration into the industrial fabric of Amiens. This collaboration enables us to benefit from a first-rate logistics tool, at the service of our customers in France and Europe."
Nicolas Martin, Director of Sustainable Development and Public Affairs, METEX Group
