Position
ALO, an SME within the Log’S Group and a service provider for a major French automaker, is seeking several SPL drivers to operate yard tractor shuttles within the plant and between our warehouse and the plant, which are located 300 meters apart. The position involves a significant amount of material handling (tarps, side panels, outriggers).
Key Responsibilities
- Docking trailers and chassis
- Moving Seedlings in the Company Yard
- Strictly follow the applicable safety guidelines
- Ensure that trailers are made available at the various drop-off areas
- Organize and/or supervise the loading of goods into the vehicle
- Verify that the delivery is correct
- Initiate emergency procedures in the event of an incident
- Obey traffic laws and school rules
Receiving / Shipping
- Be responsible for the administrative shipping documents (Waybills & Delivery Slips)
- Follow the loading plans and, if necessary, check them
Handling and Versatility
- Perform all loading operations (tarps, side panels, support legs)
- Ensure that trailers are available at the correct locations
- Clean and put away the equipment provided
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Profile
- First experience in a similar position is appreciated
- Heavy-duty truck license required
- Minimum Mandatory Initial Training (FIMO)
